1. Introduction
At DELSOL LAW & TAX, we are committed to delivering high-quality legal and tax advisory services. Due to the professional and customized nature of our services, this Return & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which payments may be adjusted, refunded, or credited.

2. Nature of Services
Our services consist of:
•    Legal and tax advisory
•    Consultations and strategy sessions
•    Preparation of legal documents and filings
•    Representation in disputes and proceedings
These services are personalized, time-based, and non-tangible, and therefore do not qualify for standard “returns” as with physical products.

3. No Right of Withdrawal
To the extent permitted by applicable law:
•    There is no right of withdrawal or cancellation once services have commenced
•    By engaging our services, you expressly agree that performance may begin immediately
This includes consultations, advisory work, and any preparatory activities.

4. Consultation Fees
•    Complimentary consultations (e.g. 15-minute sessions) are free of charge and carry no refund entitlement
•    Paid consultations are non-refundable once the session has taken place
If a session is canceled with reasonable notice (minimum 24 hours), it may be rescheduled at our discretion.

5. Retainers and Advance Payments
•    Retainers and advance payments are required for certain engagements
•    These amounts are applied against work performed
Unused portions of retainers may be refunded, subject to:
•    Deduction of fees for work already performed
•    Administrative costs, where applicable

6. Fees for Services Rendered
Fees are charged based on:
•    Time spent
•    Agreed fixed fees
•    Scope of work as defined in the engagement
Once services have been performed, fees are non-refundable.

7. Cancellation of Services
Clients may terminate an engagement at any time by written notice.
Upon termination:
•    All work performed up to the termination date will be invoiced and payable
•    Any outstanding invoices must be settled immediately
•    Any remaining retainer balance may be refunded in accordance with Section 5
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services in accordance with our Terms of Service and engagement agreement.

8. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds or fee adjustments may be considered, at our sole discretion, in exceptional circumstances, such as:
•    Administrative errors in billing
•    Duplicate payments
•    Situations where services could not be delivered due to factors within our control

9. Disputed Charges
If you believe an invoice or charge is incorrect, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of the invoice date.
We will review the matter and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Payment Methods and Processing
Refunds, where applicable, will be:
•    Processed using the original payment method where possible
•    Made within a reasonable timeframe after confirmation
Any bank charges or transaction fees may be deducted where permitted.
